Founded by Lauren Bruce, our practice is built on 20 years of deep experience in finance, planning, procurement and supply chain management.

Lauren brings a rare blend of strategic insight and hands-on expertise.
Lauren holds a BCom in Financial Management and an Honours in Business Management, with certifications including FSCA RE1 & RE5 and registration as a
Key Individual. As a proud member of CIBA and Mensa, her analytical acumen is matched by a passion for smart, practical problem-solving.

"I’m a mother, a wife, a friend, a believer — and a business owner. Each of these roles is close to my heart, and together they shape the way I lead, serve, and show up for the people and businesses we work with.

With a BCom Honours in Financial and Business Management, I’m a registered Key Individual, a CIBA Chartered Business Accountant in Commerce and a proud member of Mensa. But more than the titles and the technical knowledge, what drives me is a deep passion for helping others thrive.

For the past 20 years, I’ve worked across finance, planning, procurement and supply chain in industries ranging from FMCG to manufacturing and construction — partnering with brands like Avon, Woolworths, and Twisp. That journey has given me a holistic view of how businesses work, and more importantly, what they truly need to succeed.

I am a proud Chartered Business Accountant in Practice (SA), registered with CIBA and hold a BCom in Accounting Science from UNISA, I am also currently advancing my expertise through further ACCA studies.

My career has taken me from managing finances and sales for international companies, to driving compliance for Large African conglomerates. This experience has sharpened my ability to connect and understand the needs of our diverse range of clients.
​I thrive on challenges - both in crunching numbers and training for ultra-marathons.
I have a passion for travel and the outdoors and nothing makes me happier than a taking a breath of fresh air! With a calm, clear approach I’m here to make the complex feel simple and I'm dedicated to making your financial journey seamless and successful, always bringing a personal touch backed by proven expertise.

"With over 5years of experience in the Finance industry – both locally and abroad - I bring a unique balance of strategic thinking and hands-on precision to my role as Senior Bookkeeper at Bruce Accounting & Consulting.
Having worked with a wide range of clients in the UK & US financial sectors I’ve learned that no two clients are the same and I take pride in adapting to each client’s unique needs.
I’m dedicated towards accurate bookkeeping with integrity, having a steady focus on creating order and getting the details just right. I aspire to foster a team culture rooted in innovation, collaboration, and growth.
Outside the office, you’ll find me bodyboarding, reading or gaming – all things that keep me creative and resilient, ready to take on challenges with a fresh perspective."
